Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown

I am usually a person that likes to get the most bang for their buck. Well this hotel is worth the price! The rooms are very clean and updated. The hotel is secure (key cards needed for elevator and to get in the door past a certain hour and for regular access as well). The complementary drinks during happy hour were nice and they even accommodated me with being pregnant and had NA drinks. Ryan was an amazing bartender! The complementary breakfast is amazing - they have everything you can think of and it was clean with enough places to sit even at busy times. The rooms are large and roomy. In other hotels like this the air doesn’t work in both halves of the rooms but it worked wonderfully! They would be great rooms for traveling with kids as they could go to bed earlier on their side and parents could have their own side. I could not hear anyone in the hallways and sound was never an issue as I am a light sleeper and am usually easily awaken by people walking down the hallway. I really had no complaints about staying here and will be a repeat customer!

We had a great time last night, we went to The Timberwolves game , it was a block walk. Perfect, we hung out at Toms watch bar after the game before Coming back to our room. The Room was spotless, and the breakfast was well worth it. Josh the front desk manager was very helpful...thanks for the great stay

Very helpful at checkin, warmly answered our questions and gave us information about the area. The front desk gave us free drink tickets for bar. We stopped there on our way to the concert. Very friendly and they had an assortment of snacks set out. Looks like quite a few folks were there for a conference with name badges, but it wasn’t too crowded. The two queen bed suite was spacious and comfortable. City view. Very close to the concert we were attending. We parked in a local public parking garage to save $30 from valet. Walkable to bars, restaurants and city area. We didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast or additional services. We would stay there again if in the area.

This particular Embassy Suites was quite different than what we're accustomed to. The conversion of the old building into a hotel was tastefully done. The staff was friendly as usual and check-in didn't take too long. Happy hour was a nice treat as snacks were available in addition to the two complimentary drinks. Our room was comfortable with a very large bathroom. Everything was very tidy and the bed was excellent. Breakfast was included and better than standard hotel fare.

Five stars all the way! I stayed here 4 nights in September 2025. The room was terrific, nicely appointed with an outstanding shower. I went down to the breakfast buffet twice. Although I'm not a big eater, I appreciated the selections and the omelet station. Everything was clean and well attended to. I also enjoyed the complimentary cocktail reception. This is daily at 5pm. They offered cheese and crackers and popcorn, trail mix snacks. I'm a fitness nerd and loved the pool and fitness room. Lots of free weights and apparatus, ellipticals and bicycles. The pool, while small, has a 5-foot depth at one end which I've never seen in a hotel. Great for treading exercises. I highly recommend this property!

I recently stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I booked the top floor king corner suite and it exceeded every expectation. The room was extremely spacious with plenty of room to relax and unwind, and the layout made the stay feel more elevated and comfortable. Everything was clean, well designed, and clearly taken care of with attention to detail. The views from the top floor were a great bonus as well. The rest of the hotel was just as impressive. The lobby and common areas were clean and modern, the evening reception was a nice touch, and breakfast in the morning was fresh and enjoyable. The location is perfect for exploring downtown and getting wherever you need to go. Most of the staff members were excellent. The lady at the front desk in particular was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful each time I interacted with her. However, the front desk gentlemen could use some retraining in basic customer service. Their approach came off rushed and not very attentive at times, which stood out compared to the high standard the rest of the hotel maintained. It was not enough to overshadow the stay, but it is worth mentioning. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel and I would absolutely stay here again. The suite, the amenities, and the overall atmosphere made it a memorable visit. Five stars without question.

Very nice hotel, located right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Rooms were spacious and clean. Complimentary breakfast each morning was a plus! Due to its downtown location, parking isn't good. Otherwise, everything else was great.

The king suite was great and had a nice view. The room was large with a dining table, couch, a smart tv in the bedroom and living room, a fridge, large shower, and an amazing city view. The staff was great, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was good but get there early.
